Some interesting features in Android 11

The mobile operating system Android is constantly evolving to keep a pace with the upcoming devices. No doubt we are thrilled and waiting eagerly for the release date of the latest version of the operating system which is Android 11. It is expected to be announced on May 2020 and the final build will be rolled out to eligible phones from October 2020.

Google has astonished us with its preview of Android 11. Let’s look into some of the cool features that you can experience in Android 11

Chat Bubbles: This can allow any messaging or chat application on your phone to use chat bubbles. The conversations are more easily accessible. The bubble API shows the chat bobbles on your screen side and allows you to hop between conversations without having to open the entire chat.

Also this feature enables you to see any ongoing notifications in various messaging apps.

Bluetooth functions normally in flight mode: Many of us feel irked when the flight mode turns off the Bluetooth. However, the advanced features in Android 11 enable you to use Bluetooth without any disturbance while your phone is in flight mode. This option will be especially useful for blue tooth speakers and headphones

Reverse Charging: Android 11 makes it feasible to do reverse changing and to share battery.

Images are sent from Notification:

You can enjoy image copy support without having to open the full application.

Allows one-time app permissions:  This feature allows you to grant certain permissions to the various applications on a one-time basis.

Mute Vibrations using the camera: It can be disturbing when you are planning that perfect shot and get pertubed with a sudden notification vibration. Thanks to Android 11, muting vibration has become possible by using the camera only. You can ideally mute any notifications from ring tones, alarms and other notifications.

Support for mobile driving license: it has a feature of a secure storage and retrieval of sensitive ID documents

Prevents malicious app from accessing your details:  This is another important feature of Android 11 where the malicious apps are unable to access the information stored in your phone and thus prevents the misuse of data. Also, it avoids unnecessary clutter.

This has a downstream and upstream bandwidth for a 5G connection.

Advanced displays: This phone offers advanced displays and unique screen designs with support for pinhole and waterfall displays. It offers an improved support for curved displays by specifying the screen area for interaction

It also allows a scrolling screenshot support and a native screen recording.

Advanced biometric unlock: This is another advanced feature. It has fingerprint sensors and the Pixel 4’s face unlock system. Three different authenticator types are used and include strong, weak and device credentials.
